The founders of this site are your average hungry Bearcats who are happy to prowl the campus neighborhood to bring you information about the best and affordable places to eat!

Alice Chan
Alice loves to travel and she loves food! She was born in Hong Kong, a place best known for its variety of cuisine and delicacies. Since moving to New York for Graduate school, Alice has fallen in love with this exciting city where she gets to indulge her hobby of trying out new restaurants. Alice is looking forward to sharing her favorite food finds with her fellow Bearcats.

Mei Lee
Mei started Graduate school at Baruch in early 2010 and has been trying to find quick and convenient options for dinner in the area every since. Often rushing off to class, Mei considers pizza a staple in her diet. Like many Bearcats, she also gravitates towards sushi, pasta, burgers, curry and tacos. Mei considers carbs to be her favorite food group! She loves getting together with her friends to discover new restaurants and cuisine.

Nancy Mathew
Nancy attended Baruch College as an Undergrad, graduating in 2004 and landing a job only 5 blocks away from campus. Nancy returned to Baruch for Graduate school in 2008. 10 years of learning and working in the area makes her a sort of expert in good eats around Baruch College. Be it pizza, burgers or breakfast, Chinese, Indian or Greek food, Nancy knows the spots to hit to satisfy any Bearcat craving.

Ryan Radcliffe
Ryan’s true passion is sports – basketball, cricket, Formula 1, baseball, football; Ryan enjoys them all and more. It makes complete sense that Ryan loves any food that goes well with a beer, especially pizza and wings. Still, Ryan’s food tastes are adventurous; he has tried Rocky Mountain Oysters (bull’s testicles) and has enjoyed sheep’s intestine curry. You know Ryan will stop at nothing to get some amazing recommendations to our hungry Bearcats.

Shruti Matchhar
Shruti’s love of food started as a Baruch Undergrad when she worked as an assistant to an Italian chef. While she loves cooking at home, she also enjoys the amazing restaurants New York City has to offer. This year Shruti spent three weeks studying in, and eating her way through the “gastronomic capital of the world,” Lyon, France. Now back at Baruch, Shruti can relate to the busy, hungry Bearcat’s need to find inexpensive, fast, nutritious and delicious food.
